Thanks.
This PBEM is a bit too far ahead for me to join in and the USSR feels a bit too mismanaged at this point, but if you guys are up for a new PBEM of this, I'd love to take the Soviets.
I'd be up for a second attempt, but we would have to agree to keep a relatively high pace. With a scenario this complicated it's easy to forget your plans if the turns take too long.
I could start again I suppose.
Gonna need some more enthusiasm here, I wouldn't want to bury unmotivated capitalists.
So if we are going to restart, please pick which civilization you want. As I said, I think I'll go with the USSR.
India for me again I guess.
I started last game badly so a new chance is welcome.
I didn't mean to sound unenthusiastic. I was just expressing my frustration at the wasted effort that was put into the last game! I will stick with the USA.
Like JHE said "USSR is too mismanaged". I can't handle large nations that need to get ahead in a game. Sorry for your effort McM, I can only say that you and China have won the game if that spices things up a little...
Go ahead and start a new game and I will sit and learn.
Do not forget to take the Civ 2 PBEM survey!
I don't see how the USSR was being miss-managed. They were seven points in the lead! I have just looked at the Soviets last turn and they appear to be run in a logical manner with traders being sent out and celebrating cities.
I have played on in many scenarios I have not been enjoying for the benefit of the other players in the hope they would do the same for me when I am enjoying a game they are not. The constant abandonment of scenarios is starting to really piss me off!
